Contact Centre Adviser

Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service and resolving complex enquiries? We're looking for Contact Centre Advisers to join our award-winning team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern from 8:00am to 17:00, you'll enjoy a healthy work-life balance with no weekend working. Following an initial induction and supported training period, we can offer hybrid working. Our offices are based in Spinningfields, Manchester, conveniently located close to train and tram links.

For over 160 years, the General Medical Council (GMC) has been helping to protect patients and improve medical education and practice in the UK by setting standards for students and doctors, and more recently Physician and Anaesthesia associates. We support them in achieving (and exceeding) those standards and act when they are not met.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Contact Centre Adviser, you'll provide high-quality support to a wide range of customers through multiple channels. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to telephone, email, letter and web enquiries.
  • Accurately updating and maintaining customer records.
  • Interpreting information held on our systems to provide accurate advice and support.
  • Meeting individual and team service targets.
  • Complying with GDPR and organisational policies to maintain confidentiality and quality standards.

What We'll Provide

We’re proud to be accredited with distinction by the Institute of Customer Service. As an award-winning contact centre that is genuinely committed to its people, we’ll offer ongoing training that will really see you grow. You'll benefit from:

  • A structured induction and onboarding programme.
  • Coaching, mentoring and regular performance feedback.
  • Ongoing learning and development opportunities.
  • Wellbeing initiatives and support.
  • Clear opportunities for career progression.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
