About the Role
The contact centre is the face of the NMC and the first point of contact for all customers. Roles within the team ensure excellent customer service across all interactions, resolving registration issues, managing complaints, and maintaining a professional image.
There are two contract options available:
- A fixed-term, full-time contract (ending December 2026).
- A permanent, part-time position (28.8 hours per week, or equivalent to 4 days/week).

Responsibilities
As a Contact Centre Advisor, you will:
- Provide excellent customer service on all interactions
- Respond professionally in alignment with NMC’s tone of voice guidelines
- Support registrants globally for all query types
- Ensure high-quality standards with adherence to quality monitoring and service delivery
- Meet performance targets outlined in your key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Update relevant systems and documentation accurately
- Collaborate effectively within the team in meetings and idea-sharing
- Communicate openly with your Team Manager about performance, including identifying development areas

Hybrid Working Policy

Pay Policy
Appointments generally start at the bottom of the pay band, but in exceptional cases, exceptions may apply (including proof of current earnings). Annual salary reviews and progressive pay adjustments are standard.
For internal candidates, this role is aligned with NMC’s internal pay policy.
