Role: Contact Centre Agent
Location: Stone (Hybrid following probation) Salary: GBP 26,230 + uncapped commission Hours: Full-time
We are seeking a motivated and resilient Contact Centre Agent to join the Customer Hub of an established organisation in the financial services sector. This role requires support for individuals to resolve outstanding balances using fair and affordable payment solutions.
The client operates across the UK retail sector and maintains high standards of customer service, compliance, and professionalism. The environment is structured, equipped with clear expectations, continuous training, and opportunities for development.

Key Responsibilities
As a Contact Centre Agent, you will:
- Handle inbound and outbound customer contact via telephone, email, and live chat
- Collect overdue payments and agree affordable payment plans as per client instructions
- Assess and tailor financial solutions based on customer circumstances
- Maintain a professional, empathetic, and assertive approach
- Support individual and team performance targets through collaborative efforts
- Accurately update internal systems and create detailed case notes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, data protection, and internal policies

Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year’s call centre experience, including objection handling and negotiation
- Proven customer service experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident IT user, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Resilient, self-motivated, and target-driven individual
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude with attention to detail and multitasking ability
