Hours: Up to 38.5 hours per week (4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern)

Salary: £12.77 - £13.99 (dependent on shifts worked)

Who are Medequip Connect?

Medequip Connect provide services to over 50,000 people nationwide with the objective of providing reassurance and support to older, disabled, or vulnerable people, allowing them to remain safely in their own home.

We help people to maintain people’s independence by providing Technology Enabled Care (TEC) and a range of associated equipment that gives them the confidence of knowing that assistance is available at any time, 24 hours a day. Our care technology services provide peace of mind to you, your family, and your friends.

Our mission is to provide reassurance and support to older, disabled, or vulnerable individuals, helping them maintain independence with peace of mind. With a service that operates 24/7, 365 days of the year, we offer the reliable back-up that our clients and their families need to feel secure in living a more independent life.

About The Role

Are you passionate about helping others and delivering exceptional customer service? Join Medequip Connect as a Contact Centre Operator and become part of a forward-thinking care provider that empowers people to live independently and safely in their own homes.

As a Contact Centre Operator, you’ll respond to alarms and calls, offering professional, empathetic support. You’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality customer service and ensuring compliance with care standards.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Respond to alarms and calls with professionalism and urgency
  • Resolve client and customer queries with empathy and efficiency
  • Maintain compliance with TSA Quality Standards and British Standards
  • Monitor a range of TEC devices and applications
  • Escalate safeguarding concerns and complaints appropriately
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold company values
  • Build in-depth knowledge of the Health & Social Care sector and understand how Medequip Connect’s Contact Centre and services help manage risks and support individuals to live safely and independently.

Education

  • GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths

Experience

  • Customer Service Experience
  • A team player with a passion for helping others
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
