Solent Group works with a diverse portfolio of Retailers, supplying bespoke products across Health & Beauty, Household Impulse Snacking, and Reusable Bags. We specialise in own-label product innovation and lead category growth for our global customers, shaping trends and driving fast-paced commercial success.

Location: Hybrid (2–3 days per week in Christchurch, Dorset)
About the Role
The Group Content & Social Executive delivers engaging, high-quality content across all Solent brands, supporting marketing campaigns and enhancing brand presence across social and digital channels.
This hands-on role focuses on social-first content creation, driving traffic and conversion through both paid and organic activity—particularly on Meta platforms (Facebook & Instagram) and key e-commerce channels, such as Amazon.
Key responsibilities include:
- Activating campaign strategies into platform-specific content
- Collaborating with internal teams to execute creative outreach, launches, and activations
- Monitoring and optimising paid social and e-commerce performance
- Representing brands through influencer and partnership content
Role Position Within the Team
You will partner closely with the marketing, creative, and campaign teams to ensure seamless execution across digital and social channels.
- The marketing team owns strategy, direction, and messaging, while you translate these frameworks into high-impact, driven content.
- This role expands the team’s capability in fast-paced content delivery while maintaining brand consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Create, schedule, and publish social media content aligned with campaign priorities
- Maintain and administer content calendars across platforms
- Ensure tone of voice, visual identity, and messaging consistency

Content Creation & Coordination
- Concept, shoot, and edit high-volume social-first content (video, imagery, reactive posts) using mobile/light equipment
- Adapt marketing campaigns and brand priorities into platform-optimised content
- Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to execute digital activations
Paid Social & E-commerce Strategy
- Plan, execute, and optimise paid social campaigns (Facebook & Instagram)
- Develop Amazon-focused content designed for e-commerce conversions
- Align paid and organic strategies with the marketing team
- Monitor ad performance and contribute to continuous optimisation
Campaign Support
- Assist in social activations, launch executions, and retailer calculations
- Adapt campaign assets into social/digital-optimised formats
- Support major brand initiatives and retailer collaborations
Influencer & Partnerships
- Support influencer marketing campaigns and UGC content
- Coordinate product promotional deliveries and content workflow
- Ensure brand alignment in all external communications
Performance & Optimisation
- Track social performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions)
- Provide recommendations for content and campaign improvements
- Stay updated on platform trends and best practices

Skills, Experience & Competencies
Essential
- Proven experience in social, content, or digital marketing roles
- Strong understanding of platform-specific content formats (reels, stories, carousels)
- Experience shooting and editing video/imagery independently
- Familiarity with Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) and paid social strategy
- Hands-on with e-commerce-first content (Amazon, online sales)
- Sharp creative thinking tailored to high-performance marketing
- Fortunes in organisation, multi-tasking, and deadline management
- Clear written communication skills

Desirable
- Industry experience within FMCG, retail, or consumer brands
- Experience with influencer Programmes or user-generated content (UGC)
- Proficiency in analytics tools for performance tracking
