Working within Content Labs
Content Labs is Haymarket Business Media's specialist commercial content division. We partner with leading B2B organisations to create high-impact content, campaigns and experiences that engage professional audiences and deliver commercial value. By combining editorial excellence with strategic insight, we develop innovative content solutions that help our clients achieve their objectives while contributing to Haymarket's continued growth.
The Role
The Content and Social Media Producer will play a hands-on role in creating high-quality multimedia content and social media assets that support the delivery of integrated commercial campaigns across a range of B2B sectors, ensuring content is engaging, audience-focused and aligned with client objectives.
- Work collaboratively with clients and cross-functional teams to develop creative content solutions that maximise audience engagement, strengthen campaign performance and enhance the overall client experience.
- Support the successful delivery of commercial content projects by creating compelling digital content, managing social media activity, monitoring performance and identifying opportunities to optimise content and audience reach.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging content across a range of formats, including articles, social media posts, videos, podcasts, webinars, email campaigns and live event content, ensuring all output aligns with client objectives and Haymarket's quality standards.
- Plan, schedule and manage social media activity across relevant channels, producing engaging content that supports campaign objectives and maximises audience reach and engagement.
- Develop creative content ideas and contribute to pitches and campaign proposals, working with colleagues to create innovative content solutions for clients.
- Research industry trends, audience behaviour and emerging topics to inform content planning and identify opportunities to enhance campaign performance.
- Support the production of multimedia content, including short-form video, audio, graphics and other digital assets for commercial campaigns.
- Build positive working relationships with clients, supporting the delivery of projects and ensuring content meets agreed objectives and expectations.
- Identify and coordinate industry speakers, contributors and subject matter experts for webinars, live events and commercial content programmes.
- Work collaboratively with project managers, content editors, marketing and commercial teams to deliver integrated campaigns to agreed quality standards and deadlines.
- Monitor social media and campaign performance, using audience insight and analytics to recommend improvements and optimise future activity.

Key Relationships
Works closely with the Head of Commercial Content, Commercial Content Editors, project managers, marketing, sales and editorial teams, together with clients, external contributors and creative suppliers to support the successful delivery of commercial campaigns.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Knowledge
- Knowledge of social media platforms and their use within a B2B marketing environment, particularly LinkedIn.
- Understanding of digital content creation, multimedia formats and social media best practice.
- Knowledge of content management systems, social media scheduling platforms and digital publishing tools.
- Awareness of audience engagement, social media analytics and content performance measures.
- Understanding of content marketing principles and commercial content campaigns.
Skills
- Excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences and channels.
- Strong social media content creation skills, including writing, multimedia production and content optimisation.
- Creative thinking, with the ability to develop engaging content ideas and identify opportunities to maximise campaign performance.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to work with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to interpret social media and campaign performance data to inform future content and recommendations.
Experience
- Moderate experience creating digital content or managing social media within a B2B media, publishing or marketing environment.
- Experience producing content across multiple digital formats, including social media, video, audio and written content.
- Experience supporting the delivery of commercial content or integrated marketing campaigns.
- Experience working collaboratively within cross-functional teams to deliver projects to agreed deadlines.
- Experience working with clients or external stakeholders is desirable.
