Context of the Role

Thunes is seeking a dynamic and innovative Manager of Content & Thought Leadership to join our growing marketing team. This role will focus on driving:

  • Content creation and thought leadership campaigns
  • Enhancement of Thunes’ global narrative
  • Engagement with target audiences
  • Support for growth initiatives

Reporting to: Director of Brand & Public Relations

This position will play a key role in executing content strategies that amplify Thunes’ brand as a thought leader and support:

  • Demand generation
  • Sales enablement
  • Customer community building
  • Brand awareness

Leveraging emerging technologies (particularly Artificial Intelligence), this role will drive scalable, data-driven content that delivers measurable business results. You’ll collaborate with internal teams to ensure content resonates globally and positions Thunes as a leader in the fintech and global payments landscape.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Strategy Execution

  • Collaborate with the Director of Brand & Public Relations to develop and execute Thunes’ global content strategy.
  • Drive brand awareness, thought leadership, and audience engagement across formats, including:
    • Blogs
    • Case studies
    • White papers
    • Social media
    • Email campaigns
    • Webinars
    • Video and podcasts
    • Visual assets
    • Presentations

2. Content Creation & Production

  • Develop and produce high-quality, on-brand content aligned with Thunes’ messaging and target audience.
  • Ensure all content is rooted in data and insights, serving both marketing and sales goals.

3. Artificial Intelligence Implementation

  • Lead the identification and adoption of AI tools to optimise:
    • Content development
    • Production
    • Scalability
  • Drive AI adoption to improve:
    • Content quality
    • Speed and consistency
    • Performance measures
  • Use AI for enhanced personalisation and engagement, maximising business impact.
  • Example applications:
    • Generating scannable copy
    • Generating ** Великой** on-brand images and video (collaborative workflow with internal design teams where applicable)
    • Automating content scheduling
    • Tracking and optimising performance

4. Storytelling for Target Accounts

  • Work closely with sales and product teams to gather insights on target accounts.
  • Craft strategic, relevant, and engaging content to drive interest and decision-making for key prospects.

5. Content Planning & Execution

  • Manage the content calendar to ensure:
    • Timely delivery
    • Alignment with global initiatives, campaigns, and product launches
  • Collaborate with teams (marketing, product, demand generation) to ensure cohesive branding and messaging.

6. Collaborative Content Production

  • Partner with internal teams, external agencies, and freelancers to:
    • Ensure quality, consistency, and on-brand integrity across all content.
    • Meet production deadlines and delivery timelines.

7. Internal & External Content Alignment

  • Align content strategies with product marketing, demand gen, and sales teams.
  • Ensure consistency across all channels and audiences, reflecting Thunes’ brand voice.

8. Client & Partner Engagement

  • Develop client-facing materials, including:
    • Brochures
    • Use cases
    • Campaign assets
    • Customer success stories
  • Collaborate with partners on joint content campaigns that elevate Thunes’ market position and brand authority.

9. Performance Measurement

  • Track and analyse content performance metrics:
    • Engagement metrics (social shares, dwell time, etc.)
    • Conversion rates
    • sales data, pipeline impacted
    • Reach analytics (print, digital, video impressions)
  • Use data to refine and optimise global and regional content strategies.
  • Report content metrics (including new and influenced opportunities) to stakeholders.

10. Thought Leadership

  • Identify opportunities for high-impact thought leadership, such as:
    • Blogs & industry analyses
    • Speaking engagements and live events
    • Guest-authored podcasts, articles, and webinars
    • Awards submissions, media features
  • Position Thunes as a trusted, progressive voice in fintech and global payments.

11. Social Media Strategy

  • Develop and execute social media content strategies that:
    • Align with broader marketing objectives
    • Engage key global audiences
    • Extend reach for Thunes’ thought leadership

Professional Experience / Qualifications

Experience: 4-6+ years

  • Content creation and marketing, with a focus on B2B fintech.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality content that drives measurable impact.

Content Expertise:

  • Strong background in writing, storytelling, and content production across many formats:

    • Written content (blogs, reports, brochures, social text)
    • Video production (documentaries, explainer videos, interviews)
    • Podcasts
    • Report editing and fact-checking
  • Experience in strategic content initiatives aligned with business objectives.

Artificial Intelligence:

  • Deep understanding of AI tools for:
    • Content creation and optimisation
    • Scalability solutions (scheduling, repurposing, personalisation)
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as:
    • AI-based copy generation, image, and video editing
    • Optimising image and video production with AI
    • Automating editorial processes
    • Integrating AI-generated feedback loops

Analytical Skills:

  • Ability to analyse and extract insights from:
    • Google Analytics, social platforms, or CMS platforms
    • Sales pipeline data
  • Comfortable using analytics to improve content effectiveness and media mix.

Collaboration:

  • Proven capability to cross-function with sales, product, regional, and design teams.
  • Strong relationship building to align content efforts with global and regional growth initiatives.

Copywriting Excellence:

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with:
    • Clarity and precision
    • Brand voice adherence
    • On-brand storytelling

Social Media & Digital Savvy:

  • Experience creating engaging, high-performing social media content for B2B audiences.
  • Knowledge of digital tools for content distribution and measurement.
