Context of the Role

Thunes is seeking a dynamic and innovative Manager of Content & Thought Leadership to join our growing marketing team.

Role Overview

  • Reporting to the Director of Brand & Public Relations
  • Focused on driving content creation and thought leadership campaigns
  • Enhancing Thunes' global narrative
  • Engaging our target audience
  • Supporting growth initiatives

Key Responsibilities

Working within fintech and global payments, you’ll:

  • Leverage emerging technologies, particularly AI, to create scalable, data-driven content that achieves business results.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure content resonates globally.
  • Position Thunes as a leader in the fintech and payments industry.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy Execution

  • Assist the Director of Brand & Public Relations in shaping and executing Thunes’ global content strategy.
  • Drive brand awareness, thought leadership, and engagement through:
    • Blogs
    • Case studies
    • White papers
    • Social media
    • Email campaigns
    • Webinars
    • Video
    • Podcasts
    • Visuals
    • Presentations

Content Creation & Production

  • Develop and produce high-quality, data-driven content that aligns with Thunes’ messaging and target audience.
  • Ensure alignment with marketing and sales goals.

Artificial Intelligence Implementation

  • Identify and implement AI tools to enhance content development, production, and scalability.

  • Improve:

    • Content quality
    • Editorial consistency
    • Performance metrics
    • Personalization and engagement
  • Maximize AI-advantage for business objectives.

    (Example AI tools: NLP, image video generation, copywriting tools, analytics platforms)

Storytelling for Target Accounts

  • Work with sales and product teams to understand B2B fintech pain points.
  • Create customer-centric content that drives:
    • Engagement
    • Prospect interest

Content Planning & Execution

  • Manage the content calendar (ensuring timely global alignment with campaigns).
  • Support productive launches, business initiatives, and global sales enablement efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal/external teams to ensure: ✅ Quality ✅ Consistency ✅ Brand alignment

Collaborative Content Production

  • Work with:
    • Internal teams
    • Freelancers/Agencies
  • Maintain quality and onscale branding.

Internal & External Content Alignment

  • Align content with product marketing/demand generation to reflect business needs.
  • Ensure unified messaging across channels and audiences.

Client & Partner Engagement

  • Develop client-facing materials highlighting our solutions.
  • Partner with clients or external collaborators to create collaborative content campaigns.

Performance Measurement

  • Track and analyze content performance via data metrics.
  • Apply insights to optimize strategies and drive: ✔ KPIs ✔ New opportunities ✔ Conversations
  • Report on content metrics to stakeholders.

Thought Leadership Development

  • Identify opportunities for content-driven thought leadership, including:
    • Blog posts
    • Speaking engagements
    • Industry awards
  • Push Thunes to be a recognizable leader in fintech and payments.

Social Media Strategy

  • Support the development and execution of social media strategies across teams.

Professional Experience & Qualifications

Experience

  • 4–6+ years in content creation and marketing, specifically within B2B fintech.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, results-driven content.

Content Expertise & Execution

  • Strong background in strategic content planning and storytelling, aligning with business objectives.
  • Expertise in diverse formats:
    • Written content (blogs, white papers, case studies)
    • Video & podcasts
    • Visual storytelling

Artificial Intelligence

  • Proficiency in AI for content optimization, including:
    • NLP for data-driven copywriting
    • Pixel arts/generative AI tools for image/video content
    • AI ones for speed and editorial consistency
    • Analytics to track engagement and refine strategies

Analytical & Insight-Driven

  • Strong abilities to interpret and use performance metrics (e.g., Google Analytics, social insights).
  • Use data to continuously refine content strategies.

Collaboration & Agility

  • Experience working across sales, product, and regional teams.
  • Ability to adapt communication for global team shifts.

Writing & Editing

  • Exceptional copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for high-impact content.

  • B2B social media strategy expertise.
