Civica Election Services (CES) is the UK's leading provider of independent ballot and election services. Following recent legislative changes enabling electronic and hybrid voting methods for statutory trade union ballots, CES is expanding its Industrial Action team to support increased delivery requirements.
Role Overview
The Industrial Action Delivery Coordinator (Content) prepares ballot communications by configuring artwork, email campaigns, and ballot websites using approved templates, systems, and quality assurance processes. Working from requirements provided by client-facing project managers and delivery specialists, the role ensures communications are produced accurately and in accordance with operational and statutory requirements. This role provides an excellent entry pathway into a career in project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive and interpret ballot requirements provided by client-facing project managers and delivery specialists
- Configure ballot communications using approved templates and content management systems
- Produce and quality assure artwork, printed materials, email communications, and ballot websites
- Configure email campaigns and digital communications
- Undertake proofreading, checking, and validation activities
- Maintain version control and approved content records
- Support testing activities and resolution of content-related issues
- Follow operational procedures, quality controls, and audit requirements
- Work collaboratively with client-facing project managers, delivery specialists, production, reporting, and support teams

Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong Microsoft Office skills required. Experience of Adobe, InDesign, HTML, or similar content management software desirable
- Excellent written communication and proofreading skills
- Ability to follow documented procedures
- Strong organizational skills
- Problem solving and investigation skills
- Ability to work under deadlines
- Team-working and communication skills
- An interest in politics, elections, ballots, or the governance of trade unions or membership organizations
