Content Creator Apprenticeship

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading provider of high-end gym equipment, learning about content creation and marketing. You will support their marketing efforts and this role will see you gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, working closely with the team to drive business growth and enhance brand awareness.

Marketing Initiatives

  • Create engaging content for social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram, to promote products and services.
  • Utilise paid social media activity to generate business leads which you will follow up on.
  • Monitor social media trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Learn how to develop and execute social media strategies to generate business leads.

Brand Promotion

  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and other promotional events to represent the business.
  • Support the marketing team in creating promotional materials and campaigns.

Customer Engagement

  • Schedule and attend meetings with prospects to understand their needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Assist in creating and delivering compelling quotes to potential clients.
  • Visiting customers gyms, supporting with set up, recording content, and using AI to optimise content for various creative outputs.
  • Make connections and open business opportunities using social media: LinkedIn, Facebook Marketplace and community groups.

Person Specification

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn about sales and marketing
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Passion for the fitness industry is a plus
  • The best asset you can bring to the table is energy
  • Driving Licence - Preferred

What you'll learn

Course contents

  • Interpret the aims of the brief.
  • Research ideas and concepts to meet the brief.
  • Evaluate brand requirements and brand guidelines.
  • Prepare a mood board or other visual aid for the content to be created.
  • Present ideas, pitches and proposals for creative content to be further developed.
  • Storyboard and outline script their ideas for content to be developed.
  • Interpret data, consider its integrity and use it to inform content.
  • Develop accessible written content for different platforms and devices.
  • Apply best practice and inclusive language when creating content.
  • Write and edit copy or scripts for use on different channels and platforms.
  • Create or capture visuals and audio using standard packages and equipment.
  • Source, obtain and prepare media assets for use; using industry standard packages to adapt and edit content.
  • Use industry standard tools and content management systems to organise, structure and label content effectively, methodically and securely enabling efficient search and retrieval.
  • Identify and recommend the platform/s or channel/s to use for the media campaign.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients, colleagues and suppliers, establishing and using professional contacts.
  • Engage and respond with audiences through social media, adapting content to respond to evolving circumstances.
  • Monitor user experience to ensure content is focused on maximising engagement.
  • Analyse the differences between audiences using audience segmentation techniques and data.
  • Use lessons learned to evaluate the success of the content and identify areas for improvement for future campaigns.
  • Use continuing professional development planning to support own current and future training and development needs.
  • Operate effectively within the production workflow to meet production timelines.

You will undertake the Professional Apprenticeships Content Creator Level 3 qualification. Professional Apprenticeships is an Ofsted Outstanding-rated training provider and hold the title of Bristol and Bath Apprenticeship Training Provider of the Year for 2021.

The training is delivered using a hybrid model and can be delivered fully remotely if needed. You will have monthly 1-2-1s with your assigned tutor, along with monthly group sessions, where one topic will be covered in detail, and you will have the opportunity to meet and work with all the other apprentices on the course.

The programme is designed to mould you into a high-level, all-rounded digital marketer. You will learn in detail about:

  • Creation of audio and visual content
  • Blogging and written content
  • Creating content for social media
  • Designing engaging posts
  • Managing content online
  • Evaluating and testing the effectiveness of content

These modules are designed to jump-start your career and make you stand out in an increasingly competitive field, boosting your future earning potential.

Essential qualifications

  • GCSE in:
    • English (grade 4/C or above)
    • Maths (grade 4/C or above)
