The Role
This is a creative production role at the heart of how Smartech and its brand partners show up to the world. You'll transform campaign ideas, product launches, and in-store moments into compelling content—graphics, video, copy, and social-first assets—produced at speed and to a high standard.
Think of how Sephora or Selfridges produce slick, brand-consistent content across social, email, and in-store screens. That’s the spirit here. You’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager and Social Media lead to bring campaign concepts to life visually, using both traditional design skills and modern AI tools to move from brief to finished asset quickly.

This is not a role that waits for a finished brief—you’ll use creative judgement, suggest better visual directions, and leverage AI tools for efficiency.
What You’ll Be Doing
Content Creation
- Plan, shoot, and produce content for social media, email, website, and in-store screens
- Write and edit short-form copy for captions, posts, and campaign assets
- Adapt content across formats and channels (Instagram, TikTok, email, in-store, partner channels)
- Maintain a content calendar and organise an asset library
Graphic Design & Visual Production
- Design graphics, templates, and visual assets for campaigns and brand partner activations
- Ensure output aligns with Smartech’s and partners’ brand guidelines
- Support in-store visual merchandising and event collateral as needed
- Edit photo and video content for polished, publish-ready quality
AI Tools & Workflow
- Apply AI tools (e.g., image generation, AI video/editing tools, copywriting assistants) to speed up ideation and production
- Refine AI-generated outputs to match brand tone and visual identity
- Stay updated on new AI tools and integrate useful ones into the workflow
- Balance AI-assisted speed with hands-on creativity

Internal Collaboration
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and Social Media lead to bring campaign briefs to life
- Coordinate with brand partners, agencies, and external creators for co-branded content
- Capture on-the-day content during launches, activations, and events
- Provide insights on audience engagement with content
What We’re Looking For
You might come from a retailer, media company, agency, social-first brand, or creative studio—but what matters most is hands-on experience in content creation and visual production at pace.
We’d love to hear from candidates with:
- Ideal experience:
- Content creation, graphic design, or social media production
- A strong portfolio showcasing range in graphic design, photo/video, and copy
- Required skills:
- Practical, regular use of AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Canva AI, ChatGPT, Claude, AI video/editing tools)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Figma
- Strong eye for visual composition, typography, and brand consistency
- Excellent organisation and deadline management
- Nice to have:
- Interest in innovation, consumer technology, lifestyle, or culture
