Project Contractor – Content Creation Lead (Retail Investor Business)

As a content creator, you’ll help shape consumer understanding—delivering compelling, accessible content that inspires confidence and smarter financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Your role requires versatility, precision, and a mission-driven mindset. You’ll:
- Create and adapt content for diverse channels (articles, emails, social media, video) to drive engagement and education.
- Simplify complex concepts—turning pensions, markets, investments, and everyday finance into digestible insights for retail audiences.
- Collaborate with stakeholders—closing the gap between expert insights (research, product teams) and relatable storytelling.
- Align with campaigns and priorities, ensuring consistency and compliance with Consumer Duty regulations and regulatory expectations.
- Develop content strategies that resonate with financial advisors (to strengthen their client relationships).
- Work cross-team with Digital Wealth and partners to create impactful, scalable content.
- Balance urgency and accuracy—respond to market changes while maintaining high production standards.

Required Skills
Essential Qualifications
- Content creation expertise, ideally in:
- Personal finance journalism
- Retail investor platforms
- Investment writing (analysing, translating for broad audiences)
- Ability to distil complexity—explaining markets, investing strategies, pensions or finance in clear, jargon-free terms.
- Multi-channel adaptability: Proven experience with written pieces, social media Campaigns, emails, video scripts or ads.
- Stakeholder agility: Collaborating with economists, product teams, and finance experts; synthesising feedback effectively.
- Fast-paced environment: Thriving in deadlines and iterating content dynamically.
- Regulatory awareness: Understanding financial compliance laws, including Consumer Duty.
- Academic or professional equivalency: Degree or combined experience/training.
- Communication precision: Exceptional writing/drafting and stakeholder alignment.
