Content Creator & Social Media Manager

Sensation Band | London | Full-time, on-site

Not your average 9–5

Most marketing jobs mean sitting in an office writing captions about stuff. This one means being side-of-stage at some of the UK's most spectacular weddings and events, camera in hand, capturing the unseen stuff that happens at the world's best parties.

Sensation Band is one of the world's best party bands. We play everywhere from iconic London venues to destination events abroad, with a setlist of 450+ songs spanning funk, soul, Motown, pop, dance, and club — performed with the kind of production values you'd expect at an arena show. Our Music Director has worked with global artists, and our whole thing is recreating the full studio sound of modern hits, live. It looks incredible. It sounds incredible. Your job is to make the internet feel it.

What you'll actually do

  • Own our socials. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn — you'll run the lot, from strategy and scheduling through to jumping into the comments.
  • Create content that slaps. Shoot and edit photo and video at live events: performance moments, behind-the-scenes chaos, crowd reactions, the works.
  • Tell the story. Write copy that captures what it feels like to be in the room — not corporate fluff, real energy.
  • Build campaigns. Plan and run promotional campaigns, track what's working with analytics, and double down on it. We operate a healthy marketing budget across multiple channels, so plenty of opportunities to learn and make a massive difference.
  • Be part of the crew. Work closely with the band and team at events, coordinate with partners and vendors, and help grow the brand and the bookings.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You'll thrive here if you

  • Live and breathe short-form video and know instinctively what works on TikTok and Reels
  • Can shoot, edit, and post at pace — comfortable with Adobe Creative Cloud, CapCut, Canva, or your weapon of choice
  • Write nuanced copy that feels current, with actual personality, and know how to keep a brand voice consistent
  • Can juggle multiple deadlines without dropping the ball, including in the buzz of a live event
  • Are up for evenings and weekends when the events are on (this is where the best content lives — and yes, you'll get the time back or get it paid as overtime)
  • Bonus points for experience in music, events, entertainment, or lifestyle brands — but a killer portfolio speaks louder than a CV
  • Marketing, media, or comms qualifications are nice to have, but honestly? Show us what you've made. If your work is great, we don't care where you learned it.

Congratulations on reading to the end

Most people won't have. Here's the actual way to apply.

We're far less interested in CVs than in your ability to build an engaged following — so we're not asking for a cover letter, we're asking for proof.

Applications will only be considered from candidates who send a DM to the right place/person with links to their own social media accounts (or accounts you can show you've built and grown yourself). Show us the numbers, the engagement, the content — that's your application.

A great marketer knows how to find and reach the right people online... 😉
