Content Creator Specialist – E-Commerce
The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Content Creator Specialist, you will:
- Shape 3M’s voice by developing high-quality digital product content, ensuring it reaches consumers effectively and aligns with our brand and marketing goals.
- Collaborate globally with Area Portfolio owners, the AMC eCommerce team, and external agencies to create engaging e-commerce content across platforms (including Amazon).
- Oversee the full content production lifecycle, ensuring titles, descriptions, bullet points, images, A+ content, and other digital assets are optimised for performance.
- Leading cross-functional stakeholder engagement to drive consumer-centred, business-aligned content creation and development.
- Translate product strategies into clear, benefit-driven messaging, optimized for digital retailers and global compliance.
- Write, edit, and refine high-performing content—following Amazon SEO best practices, maintaining adherence to category conventions, and leveraging data-driven improvements.
- Ensure agency-delivered content meets brand standards through rigorous review and approval processes.
- Contribute to e-commerce excellence initiatives, including EMEA-level Amazon content improvement programs.
- Monitor content performance using metrics such as search ranking, conversion rates, content quality scores, and A/B test results to continuously enhance effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate engaging e-commerce product content (titles, bullet points, descriptions, A+ content, imagery, and copywriting).
- Partner with internal teams and agencies to deliver high-quality, brand-aligned digital assets that drive customer engagement.
- Optimise product listings for global e-commerce markets, ensuring compliance with compliance guidelines and tailored value propositions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing trends, tools, and emerging platforms to future-proof e-commerce content strategies.
- Represent the EMEA e-commerce content perspective in cross-functional projects, contributing to long-term content capability improvements.

Your Skills and Expertise
Minimum Requirements
To excel in this role, the hiring team looks for the following must-have qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Essential experience in e-commerce or digital marketing content design and creation.
- Strong Amazon content optimisation experience (a plus).
- Proven ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and manage external agency partnerships.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English. (Additional languages are advantageous.)
- Solid understanding of SEO and Amazon search optimisation best practices.
Preferred Qualifications

- Expertise in project management, including the ability to coordinate multiple deadlines effectively.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge cross-team collaboration.
- A creative, detail-oriented mindset, leveraging an iterative approach to refine content for maximum impact.
- Proficiency in articulating design concepts and requirements persuasively.
- Proactive, anticipatory thinking, with the ability to align content strategies with evolving business needs.
- Familiarity with graphic design and image editing software.
- Hands-on knowledge of digital marketing platforms and tools.
