Content Creator

Project Contractor – Content Creator (Retail Investor Business)

About the Role

At Vanguard, we are dedicated to a mission to stand for investors and provide them with the best chance of investment success. As a content creator for our retail investor business, you’ll help bring this mission to life by crafting clear, engaging content that demystifies investing, pensions, retirement, and broader personal finance topics—for greater investor trust and confidence.

Your work will support retail investors in making informed, empowered decisions, reshaping how they approach their financial future.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll create and deliver compelling, accessible content for Vanguard’s UK retail investor audience, ensuring complex topics are presented in ways that feel understandable and valuable. Core tasks include:

Core Responsibilities

  • Multiformat content creation – Develop, plan, and produce high-quality content in written articles, emails, social media, and video, often juggling multiple projects and tight deadlines simultaneously.
  • Research to reality – Translate Vanguard’s global research and thought leadership into engaging content tailored for retail investors, ensuring relevance and impact.
  • Campaign alignment – Assist in delivering marketing campaigns and broader business priorities, maintaining a consistent message across all channels.
  • Regulatory compliance – Draft content that meets financial services regulations, including Consumer Duty expectations, while balancing engaging storytelling with legal accuracy.
  • Stakeholder collaboration – Work with economists, product teams, and subject matter experts to gain deep insights into Vanguard’s investment philosophy, then communicate it in an investor-friendly way.
  • Reactive agility – Rapidly respond to market developments and business needs while sustaining high production standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
