About The Role
Do you love live music, good scran and showcasing the amazing fun to be had in venues like Biddy Mulligans, The Scotsman Hotel or The Golf Tavern then this is the role for you!
You will be responsible for the overall content creation and channel management for a variety of Food and Beverage venues within Edinburgh. Managing the social media channels, namely Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok where appropriate for these venues.
This role will have a strong focus on reels and short video content and will require you to work evenings and weekends in order to capture our venues in full swing to really showcase our brand to our customer base. You therefore must be confident editing together reels to template and applying suitable music and captions and have a good grasp of current digital marketing and viral trends.
You will work closely with the Operations team in venue to ensure social media content is consistent, high quality, and reflects the many facets of the business, and you will work closely with the group marketing team to agree content pillars and milestones for each venue. You will also work to roll out centrally created marketing campaigns in a timely fashion and will liaise closely with the marketing team to achieve on brand, high quality graphics are implemented across stories and grid where appropriate. You will engage with customer comments and will utilise customer generated content ensuring it is reposted and celebrated across our channels.

Ultimately, your aim will be to increase engagement and interest across these channels and therefore grow and maintain customer interest and loyalty to drive sales. This role covers multiple sites and therefore you must be well organised, practice good time management, and be able to prioritise and manage expectations. Excellent communication and the ability to work autonomously is a must.

Role Responsibilities
- Working towards agreed KPIs set by the business including growing followers, increasing interactions, and improving direct bookings.
- Management of social media posting for multiple venues in Edinburgh.
Skills & Experience
- A degree in marketing or communication / HND equivalent would be preferred but is not essential dependent on experience
- An active understanding of hospitality marketing, up to date with the latest trends and tools to ensure our social content is of the highest standard
- An understanding of applied social media marketing, specifically Instagram and Tiktok, including best practice, scheduling tools, in-app functionality like swipe ups, polls, creation of reels
- A keen eye for aesthetic and able to capture and create photos and videos which are clear, well lit, and of good quality.
- Comfortable working on graphics including the ability to clearly communicate to designers what you are looking for, a knowledge of Canva or similar programme would be beneficial but not essential as training will be given
- Confident doing social media outreach including liking/commenting and interacting with customers, as well as outreach via DMs to influencers, collaborators and more.

Measures Of Success
- Measurable success in KPIs, including but not limited to an uplift in followers, interaction, direct bookings.
- Successfully championing digital marketing aspects to ensure content is consistent and of the highest quality.
- Ultimately improve brand awareness and loyalty within these venues.
