- Develop, review, write, edit and publish content that meets Ofgem needs as well as those of our users to strict deadlines using content management systems.
- Support the timely delivery of communications campaigns, managing digital output from ideation to launch.
- Make sure that Ofgem.gov.uk content is user-centred, aligns to business objectives and consistently meets publishing standards.

- Evaluate customer journeys and make sure they are the best they can be – identifying content gaps and overlaps.
- Provide content expertise and advice to Ofgem colleagues.
- Increase digital understanding across the organisation by acting as an advocate for the benefits of user-centred content design by default, running training and presenting to colleagues.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
