Content Designer – 12 Month FTC

JOB TITLE: Content Designer – 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract

SALARY RANGE: £72,702 - £80,780

LOCATION: London

END DATE: Wednesday 15 July 2026

HOURS: Full-time

WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid (minimum two days per week at office, or 40% of time)

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll join a team that brings digital experiences to life—acting as the expert on copy, tone, and personality for apps and websites that millions rely on daily.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging, accessible content that delivers great digital experiences for customers.
  • Develop deep empathy for users, understanding their needs, challenges and aspirations.
  • Take ownership as the content expert in an agile environment, shaping strategic conversations.
  • Spot opportunities for consistency across touchpoints while ensuring clear, on-brand messaging.
  • Collaborate with product teams, risk, legal, and branding stakeholders.
  • Design for usability and clarity, turning complex ideas into intuitive, customer-focused interactions.

About the Role

As a Content Designer, you’ll combine research with perspective-driven writing to refine how we communicate with customers. This role sits between UX strategy, content creation, and product development, requiring you to influence decisions and work across multiple disciplines.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experienced in UX writing, conversation design, or content design with a track record of impactful work.
  • Familiarity with financial services (preferably complex environments).
  • Flexible writing style – adapting tone while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across teams while balancing deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset – thriving in multi-disciplinary agile environments.
  • Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Figma) and user-centric research.
