Granicus Forms Designer (12-Month Fixed Term Contract)

Salary
- £32,070 – £34,359 per annum (pro-rata for part-time, pay award pending)
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Digital Services Team as a Granicus Forms Designer.
Key focus is on digital forms as a core part of online channel shift efforts. Key responsibilities include:
- Working with service managers and subject matter experts to design, build, and maintain Granicus digital forms aligned with service objectives
- Leading the digitisation of paper forms, improving and enhancing existing forms based on evolving business needs
- Using data and insights to test and refine user journeys, ensuring online services are user-friendly and effective
- Advising stakeholders and facilitating consultative improvements to processes and outcomes
- Delivering digital projects and managing quality standards while meeting timelines
- Staying updated with best practices in digital form development and promoting continuous improvement
- Collaborating closely with internal departments, Business Intelligence, and Customer Service to drive online adoption
- Building relationships with IT and Information teams in support of transformation initiatives

Requirements & Qualifications
Essential:
- Degree or equivalent experience in designing, writing, editing, and publishing online content and digital forms, including:
- Strong understanding of quality standards, design principles, accessibility requirements, and best practice
- Ability to solve complex problems and communicate effectively with non-specialist staff
- Cognitive skills to plan, prioritise, and manage deadlines across multiple projects
- Knowledge of current legislative and policy frameworks governing online content
- Experience using research and stakeholder insights to inform decision-making
Desirable:
- Experience demonstrating continuous improvement principles in digital service delivery
