Requirements of the role

Do you have a passion for creating content that is clear, accessible and focused on user needs? Are you experienced in turning complex information into engaging digital content that helps people find the information they need quickly and easily? If so, Ofgem would love to hear from you.

As a Content Designer, you will play a key role in transforming and improving content across Ofgem.gov.uk. Working within our Digital Communications team, you will collaborate with colleagues across communications, policy and stakeholder teams to create user-centred content that supports both organisational objectives and audience needs.

You’ll be responsible for developing, editing and publishing high-quality digital content, supporting communications campaigns from concept through to delivery. Using data, research and user insight, you’ll continually review and improve customer journeys, identify content improvements and ensure content meets accessibility and publishing standards.

We’re looking for a skilled content professional with proven experience of creating accessible, user-focused online content. You will be confident interpreting complex information and translating it into clear, engaging messaging that supports users in achieving their goals. Strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to influence stakeholders through evidence-based decision making are essential.
