Overview
Are you a commercially minded marketer with a natural talent for writing and an interest in jewellery? Do you have experience in B2B marketing and enjoy creating engaging content that resonates with customers?
We’re a family-run jewellery wholesale business looking for a hands-on Content & Digital Marketing Manager to take ownership of our marketing efforts, shape our brand’s voice, and help drive the company forward. We work with a diverse range of clients, from small independent entrepreneurs to well-known high street brands.
About the Role
This is a standalone role where you will play a key part in shaping the strategic direction while taking hands-on responsibility for day-to-day execution across digital marketing, content creation, and advertising. While you’ll be the main driver of our marketing efforts, we have an in-house photographer and there is a small budget for outsourcing or training in areas where additional expertise is needed. You will oversee any outsourced work to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
If you’re looking for a fashion-forward brand that’s all about glossy campaigns and red carpet moments, this might not be the role for you. We’re more stock rooms than catwalks - helping retailers find beautiful jewellery where price and commercial opportunity are key.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Key responsibilities include:
- Strong Content Creation: Write engaging, accurate, and compelling copy for newsletters, social media, website content, and marketing materials—without relying solely on AI.
- Marketing Strategy & Planning: Contribute to the marketing strategy defining the overall direction and develop the plan to deliver. Must be able to assess performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to optimise results.
- Drive organic traffic growth and improve search engine rankings through effective on-page and off-page optimisation.
- Market & Trend Awareness: Stay up to date with the jewellery market, industry trends, and competitor activity to help shape content and marketing strategies.
- Customer Understanding: Register and analyse new customers to refine marketing efforts and measure impact.
- Social Media Management: Write, plan, schedule, and post organic content across platforms while managing engagement and interactions. Paid social advertising is not a major focus—this can be outsourced if needed.
- Outreach & Engagement: Manage customer communication across all channels.
- Email Marketing & Content Creation: Write copy, build, and send email campaigns using MailChimp and the website platform, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and marketing goals.
- Visual Content Creation: Work with the in-house photographer to create engaging visual content. While this is not a design role, the candidate will need to create static and video posts using tools like Canva.
- Website updates: Ensure the website is regularly updated with the latest products and imagery, keeping the content fresh and aligned with current offerings.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse key performance indicators across social media, email marketing, and website traffic to inform future strategies (deep data expertise is not required).
- Photo Shoots & Visual Content: Contribute to the planning and execution of professional photography to showcase our collections.
- Managing Outsourced Work: Where specialist expertise is required, oversee outsourced marketing projects and ensure quality results.
