Content Executive/Content Writer

As a content writer, you will be responsible for creating, reviewing and editing SEO optimised content for website and digital projects including writing landing pages, product detail pages and blog posts as well as turning your skills to email marketing and social media posts for our variety of clients.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience with digital publishing and generating traffic and leads for new business. You will be responsible for carrying out detailed subject and keyword research and implementing these into your content to gain maximum exposure. You will be a confident communicator capable of working with a range of customers and collaborate effectively with your colleagues.

About You

The DW team are a friendly bunch who are focused and driven to deliver the best for our clients, if you’re of the same mindset you’ll fit right in. You’ll be a confident writer, able to adapt your writing style to suit a variety of clients. You’ll be able to spot errors and correct them and turn jargon into meaningful content. Creativity and the ability to offer new ideas are a must as well as a good understanding of how different channels require different executions.

  • You will be able to demonstrate at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Have great writing, editing, and proofreading skills for short form copy and longer articles
  • Demonstrate the ability to craft content appropriate for a variety of audiences
  • Confidently apply SEO best practices
  • Be able to hit the ground running and quickly grasp what’s needed
  • Be confident in working as part of a vibrant agency team and with demanding clients
  • Desirable to have experience of electrical or construction wholesale or B2B marketing
  • Experience other aspects of digital marketing, such as Meta advertising, would be advantageous but not essential
