About Resi

Resi is the UK's largest home extension company, and in 2026 we've started to grow well beyond our origins as an online architect. Resi Design now operates as a full design and delivery company, with a three-tier product architecture (Express, Explore and Elevate) and industry-leading partners supporting our efforts to address the real barriers homeowners face today, predominantly affordability, buildability and financing.

Alongside Resi Design sits Resi Labs, a data and insights team embedded across the UK's largest property portals, capturing consumers at the very start of their renovation and research journey. The relationship between Design and Labs gives us our point of difference and our edge.

About The Role

Resi Design processes more planning applications than any other home extender, we have the largest library of proof points and completed projects, thousands of hours of customer insight, and are the number one home extension company in the UK and highest rated architect on Trustpilot.

Our primary goal, and the responsibility of this role, is to turn that experience and authority into an industry-leading content engine. That starts with editorial and creative judgment. You know what good content looks like, you can direct a team to hit that standard, and you curate what gets made so it's genuinely good rather than just efficiently produced. From there you link that output to our organic strategy, so everything fuels Resi's authority in search and AI discovery.

To scale it with the business, you use AI and systems thinking. You've rebuilt content workflows around AI tooling so a small in-house team and a freelance network can produce exceptional content at volume.

While the Head of Marketing sets brand positioning and the strategic framework, you own the content engine within it. You decide what gets made, when, in what format, to what standard, and how it gets found. You'll direct a production resource, draw on a freelance bench, and work alongside our CRM and lifecycle manager whose customer insight feeds directly into what you make.

You don't need to be a technical SEO or AEO specialist, but you do need to properly understand how content gets discovered, by Google and by LLMs, and build the engine so distribution is designed into our strategy.

What You Will Own

  • Editorial and creative direction. You will decide what good looks like, direct freelance resources to achieve the vision of the team and the levels you set, and curate the output so it's genuinely strong.
  • The content engine. You will own the content calendar and production pipeline end to end, deciding what gets made, when, in what format, and to what standard. You have the responsibility to run this with autonomy within the teams framework.
  • AI-powered production workflows. You build and keep improving the workflows that let a small team and a freelance network produce at volume: AI-assisted drafting, repurposing pipelines, QA processes, tone of voice systems. Utilising the right AI tools is in your operating model, not something you occasionally reach for.
  • Production and creative briefing. You brief and direct the production resource across video, photography and editing, and produce or commission creative for paid ads. You set the brief and decide whether the output is good enough, working directly with our external performance agency.
  • Distribution and discoverability. You make sure content is structured to be found: search rankings, LLM citation, platform-native formats. You monitor where Resi shows up across LLMs, brief technical SEO work to our engineering bench, and QA what comes back.
  • Customer insight integration. You work with our CRM and Lifecycle Manager to dig into call data and customer messaging, and turn what customers actually care about into content territory and thought leadership.
  • Content performance measurement. You will own the feedback loop and are responsible for understanding what's working, what's compounding, what to double down on, and are able to communicate this effectively.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About You

We're looking for somebody who:

  • Has real editorial and creative judgment, and can point to high quality performant content they've shaped or directed.
  • Has directed creative production (video, photography, design), can brief a freelance resource well, and can judge whether the output is good enough.
  • Is able to see and use AI natively as part of an operating model, understanding how it will enable you to scale your own judgment across a lean team and a freelance bench.
  • Thinks in systems and compounding output rather than individual pieces, building repeatable proven workflows and not just individual pieces of content.
  • Genuinely understands how content gets discovered, in search and in LLM citation, and can build for it.
  • Has worked in-house at a growth-stage business and knows how to harness commercial pressure and work creatively with the resources on offer.
  • Is autonomous, and doesn't need significant management overhead to prioritise and deliver.

This Role Won't Suit Someone Who

  • Is at their best producing the work themselves, and would rather be writing or in the edit than directing others to a standard.
  • Has strong SEO or technical content skills but relies on briefs and process to know what good looks like, rather than their own editorial judgment.
  • Is used to a steady publishing cadence, and measures a good month by how much went out.
  • Works best inside an established content function with set processes, rather than building the system from scratch.
  • Has built their craft agency-side and hasn't had to own commercial outcomes in-house.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 12 months you will have:

  • Built a content engine that consistently produces high-quality content at volume
  • Established a clear editorial and creative standard that the freelance bench delivers against without constant senior input.
  • Measurably improved Resi's citation presence across major LLMs for home extension queries, and its organic rankings for core topics.
  • Built a working insight loop with the CRM and lifecycle manager, where customer data visibly shapes what gets made.
  • Got the measurement loop live: rank tracking, citation monitoring and content attribution all running and informing decisions.
  • Made the organic channel a meaningful contributor to acquisition, with clear data showing the trajectory.
