Content and Social Media Manager – B2B (Hybrid, Reading)

Up to £75,000 + benefits

Our client, a leading UK infrastructure organisation, is advancing into a critical stage of growth and innovation. With new markets unfolding and transformative projects underway, they need a Content and Social Media Manager to refine their digital presence, strengthen their messaging, and captivate audiences across all channels.

This strategic hybrid role will let you influence a brand at a pivotal moment—combining creative strategy with hands-on execution to deliver measurable commercial impact while working three days a week in the Reading office.

The Role

You’ll own the organisation’s digital voice, shaping how it communicates through content, social media, and storytelling. As they expand into fresh categories, your role will be key in building credibility, shaping market perception, and driving demand. This isn’t just content creation—it’s a hybrid function blending strategy and execution to fuel growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead LinkedIn and organic social strategy, positioning the brand as an authority and thought leader while enhancing category clarity
  • Maintain a consistent, high-impact publishing rhythm, including thematic series, audience engagement, and influencer amplification
  • Define and enforce a unified tone of voice, ensuring brand standards are met across content and leadership messaging
  • Craft compelling, high-performing social content (posts, articles, videos, threads) with clear hooks, calls-to-action, and storytelling
  • Align all editorial and marketing assets with the brand narrative and commercial campaigns, aligning touchpoints across organic channels, digital assets, and PR
  • Collaborate with Corporate Comms, Brand, and business leaders to identify and share key stories—ranging from case studies to leadership insights
  • Track and analyse KPIs, including engagement rates, audience growth, themed campaigns, and downstream business impact
  • Apply deep expertise in LinkedIn, harnessing algorithm insights, content formats, and executive-focused storytelling to reinforce the brand’s authority

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
