Content and Social Media Manager – B2B - Hybrid (Reading) • Up to £75k + benefits

Our client, a leading UK infrastructure organisation, is entering a major phase of growth and transformation. With new markets opening up and a wave of innovation underway, they’re looking for a Content and Social Media Manager who can elevate their digital presence, sharpen their narrative and bring their brand to life across social and content channels.

This is a standout opportunity to influence a brand at a defining moment, combining strategy, creativity and hands-on execution to deliver real commercial impact. This role is three days in their Reading office.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of the organisation’s digital voice, shaping how it communicates across content, social and storytelling. With the business moving into emerging categories where awareness is still developing, your work will play a crucial role in building understanding, credibility and demand. This is a hybrid role spanning strategy and creation, where you’ll build a consistent content engine that strengthens brand perception and drives measurable results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead LinkedIn and organic social strategy to build authority, thought leadership and category clarity
  • Run a consistent publishing rhythm including series, amplification and community engagement
  • Define tone of voice and content standards across the brand and senior leadership
  • Create compelling, high-impact social content with strong hooks and clear CTAs
  • Align content with brand narrative and priority campaigns across marketing, web and comms
  • Collaborate with Comms, Brand and business leaders to surface the right stories, including culture and talent
  • Monitor and optimise performance across engagement, audience quality, themes and downstream impact
  • Apply deep LinkedIn expertise including formats, algorithm insights, community building and exec amplification

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
