Job Title

This is a brilliant opportunity for a creative, curious and organised content marketer who wants to work across a wide mix of channels, audiences and campaigns in one of the UK travel industry’s most influential membership organisations.

About the Role

As Marketing Content Executive, you will help turn business priorities, member stories, supplier activity and industry trends into engaging content that informs, inspires and drives action.

You will work closely with our marketing, commercial and wider business teams to create content for members, partners, trade audiences and consumer-facing activity. From social media and email marketing to magazines, websites and event campaigns, you’ll see your work making an impact across the business.

One day you could be helping promote a consumer-facing travel magazine, the next you could be shaping launch communications for one of our specialist business divisions. This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, can quickly understand different audiences, and is confident turning ideas into clear, engaging and useful content.

By building relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and members, you will help identify the stories that matter and bring them to life across the right channels.

Responsibilities

To do this, you would:

  • Plan, write and repurpose content across multiple formats, including web pages, blogs, social posts, emails, digital magazines, campaign assets, event content and partner communications.
  • Support the end-to-end delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email, social, web, digital publications and event-related content, from briefing and content creation through to deployment and performance analysis.
  • Produce high-quality long and short-form content, including blogs, thought leadership articles, customer stories, campaign copy and trade communications.
  • Create audience-first content that is tailored to different groups, including members, partners, trade audiences and consumers.
  • Write and optimise website content, blogs and campaign landing page copy, using SEO best practice where relevant.
  • Create engaging social-first content, including platform-specific copy, graphics, short-form video concepts and simple edits, adapting ideas for channels such as LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook.
  • Proactively spot stories across the business, our membership and the wider travel industry, turning them into compelling content that can be used across social, web, email, PR, magazines and events.
  • Develop and deliver integrated communications plans that bring campaigns, product launches and business initiatives to life across multiple marketing channels.
  • Support the Senior Marketing Executive with the production of our quarterly magazine by researching story ideas, conducting interviews, writing content and working with the designer to create an engaging digital publication.
  • Support the development and delivery of the organisation’s content strategy, ensuring content aligns with business priorities, marketing campaigns and audience needs.
  • Support the planning and management of the content calendar, including key industry trends, dates, campaigns and topics to share with our travel agent audience.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, supplier partners and members to identify opportunities and create engaging marketing content.
  • Research and stay updated on industry trends to identify opportunities for timely and relevant content creation.
  • Create compelling multimedia content, such as videos, graphics and infographics, working with designers and digital colleagues where needed.
  • Ensure all content is consistent with the company’s brand guidelines, tone of voice and messaging.
  • Work with the commercial team to understand supplier objectives, commercial benefits and the importance of the partnerships we have with our suppliers.
  • Use simple performance insight from email, social, web and campaign reporting to understand what content is landing, where improvements can be made and how future activity can work harder.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
