Digital Communications & Marketing Executive
About the Role
For 100 years, Muntons has been producing high-quality, sustainable malt and malted ingredients for some of the most famous and well-loved brands around the globe.
We have an established digital presence but we’re looking for a creative and digitally savvy communications and marketing professional to join our team to help move our digital communications forward.
This role will play a key part in shaping how we creatively tell our story across our markets in the UK, Asia, Europe, and the rest of the world, as well as engaging with customers, industry stakeholders and local communities on social media and other digital channels.
Reporting to the Communications Manager and working closely with the wider Marketing team, you will produce digital content across multiple platforms, including social media, email and the website. You will bring creative flair to the development of graphics, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with the Muntons brand. You will also support internal communications by creating engaging content that captures the attention of colleagues across all sites.

Responsibilities
Content Creation
- Lead multimedia content creation, producing high-quality, engaging, and authentic assets (e.g., videos, photography, graphics, blog copy) aligned with the Muntons brand, storytelling objectives and commercial positioning.
- Manage Muntons’ social media channels day to day, planning, scheduling, creating engaging content (including paid content), and driving performance across both corporate and Homebew channels to grow reach and engagement.
- Stay up to date with emerging social media trends and platform updates.
- Track and report on social performance, working with the Communications Manager to deliver effective paid campaigns, generate leads, and provide insights for optimising content and channel growth.
- Support the rollout of multichannel B2B campaigns across web, social media, and email via content and asset creation.
- Support email campaigns through Zoho CRM.
- Support website content updates alongside the Marketing team via WordPress CMS, including blogs, news stories, and SEO activity (keyword research and on-page optimisation).

Creative
- Plan, shoot/film, and edit photography and videos for digital and internal communications, collaborating with the Marketing team and external agencies on larger projects.
- Create engaging branded graphics for multichannel use, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and visual identity with an innovative approach.
- Bring fresh ideas to strengthen Muntons brand across diverse audiences (commercial, corporate, recruitment, colleague engagement).
Campaigns and Communications
- Bring Muntons brand to life through storytelling, supporting lead generation, sales, and industry positioning.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to develop campaigns and product launch concepts showcasing our product range.
- Adapt and distribute campaign assets across organic and paid channels.
Other Duties
- Support the Marketing team with website updates (blogs, SEO, reporting).
- Assist with internal communications, including content for screens, Town Hall meetings, and the intranet.
- Support Marketing with admin and reporting, prioritising tasks as needed.
Required Skills & Attributes
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in digital communications/marketing, social media management, and content creation.
- Experience managing corporate social media accounts across channels: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and Bluesky.
- Understanding of basic SEO principles and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Strong skills in creative copywriting, photography, and videography, along with proficiency in video editing software.
- Graphic design aptitude, with experience using tools like Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects while prioritising deadlines.
- Commercially aware, with knowledge of B2B marketing.
- Confident self-starter, eager to innovate and collaborate across stakeholders.
- Must be within 1-hour radius of Stowmarket headquarters.

Desirable Skills
- Graphic design qualification or InDesign/Photoshop experience.
- Experience using WordPress CMS.
- Experience delivering paid social ads and familiarity with LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Meta Business Suite.
- B2B experience in food, beverage, or sustainability is a plus.
- Occasional travel to Yorkshire production sites required; full UK driving licence would be advantageous.

- Salary: £32,000 - £35,000
