Are you a content marketing specialist who is creative, collaborative and process-driven? If so, we want to hear from you.

Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity are hiring for a Content Marketing Manager for a 12-month fixed term contract (covering maternity leave).

Over the past 9 months the Content team, which sits within the broader Brand team, has been developing an exciting new content strategy that looks at the process and people side of content as well as the strategic storytelling and creative approach. We’re looking for someone brilliant to help develop and implement key aspects of the content strategy, working directly with colleagues from across the charity and hospital to embed a more effective and efficient approach to content planning, development and delivery.

Salary

The salary for this position is £41,731 pro rata and we operate a hybrid working policy with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Brand Content Manager to develop, execute and embed the new content strategy within the organisation.
  • Develop and implement a new organisational storytelling narrative framework and toolkit.
  • Build and oversee an ongoing calendar of content and a new community of practice, working with colleagues to ideate, plan, develop and distribute content with a focus on accessibility, representation and inclusion.
  • Train and upskill colleagues, developing best practice guidelines and embedding new processes.
  • Develop content plans for key brand and fundraising campaigns.
  • Lead a stakeholder engagement plan throughout the content strategy process.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Experience in content marketing and expertise across the entire life cycle of content production.
  • Experience embedding new ways of working or processes within a team or organisation.
  • Knowledge of how to translate audience insight into meaningful creative decisions.
  • Experience supporting organisational EDI ambitions.
  • Understanding of best practice across digital and offline channels.
  • Confident stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and grow positive working relationships.
  • Strong project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.

This role is ideal for someone with a content marketing background, a creative and collaborative approach and process and project management skills.

A DBS is required for this role which will be paid for by the charity.
