Content Marketing Specialist – Technical Lead (Robotics & Drone Domain)
Location: Remote (UK) Contract: Permanent Environment: Award-winning Swiss Top 100 Start-up (No.1 Robotics Start-up 2023/24)
About the Role
Our client, a pioneering robotics company specialising in indoor drone inspections for hazardous environments (sewer management, hydro power, oil & gas, maritime, chemical plants), seeks a **highly skilled **[priorities language: “highly skilled”]Content Marketing Specialist to lead its digital content strategy.Ideal for professionals who excel in translating complex engineering, hardware, and automation concepts into clear, engaging, and SEO-optimised copy.
Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years in technical content marketing with a strong emphasis on B2B focus.
- Deep experience in technical, industrial, robotics, drone, or automation environments.
- Proven ability to simplify complex technical details for both engineering and non-technical audiences.
- B2B savvy—understanding sales complexity, business priorities, and cross-departmental collaboration.
- Optimised English communication (written + spoken) with precision and clarity.
- Thrives in a high-autonomy, multi-team setting requiring adaptability to fast-paced demands.

- Bridge the gap between engineering complexity and accessible messaging.
- Create SEO-optimised articles/landing pages to drive organic traffic and establish technical authority.
Digital & Social Media
- Craft product-focused, technical content for:
- LinkedIn, research reports, branded videos.
- Manage WordPress/Webflow content with precision, ensuring technical accuracy.
- Support product launches, campaigns, and webinars with tailored digital assets.

Visual & Multimedia Production
(Nice-to-have, but encouraged)
- Design technical diagrams, infographics, or explainer graphics (Canva/Figma).
- Edit demo footage, product walkthroughs, or test-flight videos for social media/web pages.
Data-Driven Optimisation
- Track content performance via GA4 and analytical insights.
- Refine strategies based on user behaviour, keyword trends, and SEO best practices.
