Purpose of the role
As Content & Social Media Executive, you will play an important role in bringing the Morson Group brand to life through engaging content, social media and digital storytelling. You will help shape the Group’s content presence, owning organic social channels and supporting the creation of social assets, video and podcast content. Working across the wider business, you will turn industry insight and thought leadership into valuable, engaging content that can be shared across our business units and help grow our visibility and reputation.
Where it sits
This role sits within the central Brand, Content & PR team and reports into the Content & Brand Lead. You will work closely with the Creative Studio, marketing colleagues and embedded business unit teams to plan, create and deliver content across channels. This is a hands-on role where you will have the opportunity to bring ideas to life, experiment with different formats and help build a consistent and recognisable Morson Group voice.

Key responsibilities
- Own the Group content calendar and run organic social across Morson brand pages, including LinkedIn.
- Create social assets with the support of the design team
- Support the content team with video and podcast production - planning, shooting or directing, editing and publishing.
- Turn thought-leadership programmes into repeatable content the SBU partners deploy, rather than one-off assets.
- Manage day-to-day community engagement across channels and maintain a consistent brand voice.
- Track reach, engagement and audience growth, and supply these as inputs to the board share-of-voice metric.
Skills and experience
- A content-first marketer with strong organic social experience.
- Practical video production skills: able to direct and edit short-form video for social and support filming for longer form productions.
- Podcast production experience, or clear evidence of the skill to take it on (recording, editing, publishing).
- Strong written skills, and the judgement to adapt one idea across formats and channels.
- Comfortable working to a measurement framework and reporting against engagement and reach targets.
- SEO experience is advantageous but not essential
