Content & Social Media Strategist

Content & Social Media Strategist • Salary Range: £45,000–£50,000 • Location: South Oxfordshire | Hybrid (2 Days WFH) - VERY close to a train station

We are working with a rapidly expanding healthcare business that has built an exceptional reputation through outstanding patient experiences, innovation, and a commitment to growth. Due to continued expansion, our client is investing heavily in its brand presence and content strategy, creating an exciting opportunity for a Content & Social Media Strategist to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of its digital marketing function.

The Content & Social Media Strategist will join at a key stage of growth, taking ownership of content creation, social media strategy, and audience development across multiple platforms. This is a rare opportunity to build a media function from the ground up, combining hands-on content production with the longer-term opportunity to recruit, mentor, and lead a growing creative team.

Role Highlights Develop and execute a social media strategy focused on audience growth and engagement Plan, film, edit, and publish high-quality short-form video content Create compelling stories that showcase patient journeys, expertise, and brand values Work closely with clinicians, patients, and senior leadership to capture engaging content Build the foundations for a future in-house content and media team Working across organic and paid ads

You Will Need Previous experience in a Social Media Strategist or similar strategic content-focused role Strong understanding of social media growth, platform trends, and content performance Proven videography and video editing capabilities Experience producing engaging short-form content for modern social platforms Confidence taking ownership of projects and working independently
