Responsibilities

This is a position with regular hours set at 30-40 or hours per week. This will be mainly remote work, considered flexible.

The Content Specialist contributes to creative concepts, blog posts, copywriting for catalog content and website copy, social media and email marketing strategy and updates for our clients, in house brands and agency level communications.

  • Writing creative briefs
  • Product catalog content for Amazon, Shopify and Adobe Commerce
  • Contributing to email newsletters
  • Owning the creative brief process

Includes creating content for websites, landing pages, marketplace graphics and social media assets, email templates, etc. for a wide variety of clients.

The ideal candidate must be able to create content or enhance existing copy that meets marketing objectives, integrates best practices, and addresses client brand standards.

This is a hands-on opportunity ideal for an organized and detail-oriented individual who can consistently deliver high quality content strategy and copywriting. The ideal candidate is a naturally engaging storyteller who works closely with cross-disciplinary teams to further best practices at every opportunity.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree required in related field
  • An experienced marketing content creator with a strong portfolio of content work
  • Knowledge / proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Sketch, InVision, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Impeccable understanding of copywriting, proofreading, typography, layout, color, and other elements of design and content
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Understanding of SEO
  • Experience in an Agile development environment
  • Experience creating content based on style guides, brand standards and other branded materials
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and project team members
  • Excellent listener with a passion for human-centered design
  • Is proactive and has efficient time-management skills

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience creating marketing content, copy and social media
  • Must be able to present work effectively to internal and external teams
  • Understanding of Amazon, Shopify and product marketing are a plus
  • Must be based in USA
