Salary: Competitive, based on experience (pro-rata)
Contract: 6-month fixed-term contract, 0.5 FTE (part-time)
Location: Mayfair, London (On Site, daily during office hours)

Role Overview
As the Content Specialist, you will drive the development, creation, and delivery of high-quality content across multiple channels during a 6-month, part-time (0.5 FTE) engagement, working on-site daily during office hours. This pivotal role requires an analytical and curious mind with a great ability to write copy for different platforms. It involves leading ideation, conducting research, writing compelling content, and overseeing the proofreading, editing and approval process to ensure consistency and excellence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, SEO, social media, events and PR, to deliver content that aligns with our clients’ brand objectives and engages their target audiences.
Working Pattern
This is a part-time role at 0.5 FTE, worked daily within standard office hours, based fully on-site at our Mayfair, London office. The successful candidate will be engaged on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with responsibilities and deliverables scoped accordingly.

Key Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Ideation: Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy, and calendars for campaigns, blogs, social media, email marketing and other marketing materials.
- Content Creation: Write clear, engaging, and persuasive content tailored to various platforms, including website articles and web copy, social media, email campaigns, speeches, and press releases.
- Speech Writing: Research and draft speeches that resonate with an audience and effectively communicate key messages for various events and presentations.
- Press Release Writing: Write concise, newsworthy press releases to secure media coverage and announce important company news.
- Research: Conduct thorough research to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with industry trends and client goals.
- Editing & Proofreading: Oversee the editing and proofreading process, ensuring all content meets high standards of grammar, tone, and brand consistency.
- Content Approval: Support the sign-off process for content produced during your contract, ensuring it aligns with strategic objectives and quality standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the full marketing team to ensure cohesive campaign delivery.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse content performance using analytics tools, providing insights to optimise future content.
- Brand Voice: Maintain and evolve brand voice guidelines, style guides, ensuring consistency across all communications.
- SEO Optimisation: Write web content that is optimised for search engines, using SEO best practices to drive traffic.
- Project Management: Manage content calendars, deadlines, and workflows to ensure timely delivery of projects.

Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in content creation, ideally with experience in politics, economics, etc.
- Education: Master's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or a related field. Experience in speech writing and press release writing is preferable.
- Writing & Editing: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and proficiency in English.
- Research Skills: Strong analytical ability to conduct in-depth research and translate insights into compelling content.
- Digital Savvy: Familiarity with SEO, content management systems (e.g., WordPress), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Organisation: Strong organisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Creativity: A creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and innovative content solutions.
- IT Skill Requirement: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, etc. Adobe, SemRush,
