Job Description & Summary
About the role:
PwC UK is seeking an experienced Content & Thought Leadership Manager to join the Sales and Marketing team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for a talented business writer with experience in business or technology media, or in-house/agency content development for B2B organisations.
Working across PwC’s lines of service, industries, and sectors, you will create compelling thought leadership and marketing content that showcases the firm’s expertise and positions PwC at the forefront of business and technology innovation. Content formats will include client success stories, long-form articles, research-led reports, and multimedia campaigns.
You will collaborate with clients, business leaders, and subject matter experts across the firm, as well as marketing colleagues in the UK and globally. Partnering with teams across brand, campaigns, digital marketing, and client experience, you will help deliver integrated content strategies that engage audiences, strengthen market positioning, and support commercial growth.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape high-impact content, influence key business conversations, and contribute to PwC’s reputation as a trusted adviser on the issues that matter most to clients and the wider market.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
