I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About the role
We're looking for a Freelance Content Writer to join our content team and take the lead on writing social posts around go-to-market (GTM) initiatives. This is a fast-paced role for someone who can pick up a complex topic and run with it, turning it into sharp, credible social content at speed.
You won't be writing in isolation. Your posts are part of a wider content machine, working alongside video, graphic, and motion assets so that copy and creative land together. You'll write across both personal brand profiles and company profiles, adapting your voice to suit each.
What you'll do
- Write high-quality thought leadership social copy that stands strong on its own
- Adapt your voice across personal brand profiles and company profiles
- Turn complex GTM topics into clear, punchy social content, at pace
- Collaborate with our content and strategy teams so copy and creative work seamlessly together
- Over time, there's scope to grow into larger formats such as podcast briefing and newsletter writing
