Chief Content Writer – UK Sports & Betting (Experienced Writer)

About the Role: Content Writer (Focus: UK Market)
If you thrive on writing at the intersection of sports, betting, online casinos, and digital publishing while crafts SEO-optimized, authoritative content for the UK, this position is for you.
As a dedicated Content Writer, your focus will be UK-centric: you’ll create engaging, accurate and high-ranking content that captivates bettors and sports fans. But this role isn’t theoretical—you’ll process real-world validation by:
- Registering accounts with UK bookmakers and online casinos
- Testing both desktop and mobile experiences
- Penning honest, first-hand reviews
You’ll collaborate closely with Content Managers, Editors, and SEO Specialists to craft content that drives both organic search performance and business results. If you balance eagerness for sports/gambling with an eye for clear, customer-focused writing, you’ll fit right in.

Apply SEO fundamentals: keyword integration, internal linking, metadata, and perfecting content structure

Continuously update and optimise published content to ensure relevance and searchability

Partner with Content Managers, Editors, SEO Specialists, and collaborators to improve quality

Ensure content adheres to both editorial standards and UK gambling regulations

Proofread meticulously and verify all content before submission
What We’re Looking For
Core Requirements:
✔ Native UK English speaker or exceptional written English with strong UK audience experience
✔ Proven experience writing about sports betting, online casinos, or iGaming—essential
✔ SEO baseline knowledge: comprehension of search optimisation techniques (keywords, on-page SEO, content structure)
✔ Sharp researching skills with rock-solid attention to detail
✔ Aptitude to complexity distilling—cutting gambling jargon into accessible, engaging narratives

✔ Deep knowledge of UK bookmakers, casino operators, promotions, and financial/regulatory terminology
✔ Hands-on familiarity with WordPress/equivalents and SEO tools (e.g. Ahrefs, SEMrush, Surfer SEO; bonus points)
Action Demands
✔ UK-resident—necessary to access and test licensed betting platforms ✔ Active comfort with placing test betters/deposits to vet casino experiences, including on both desktop and mobile
