Contentious Probate Solicitor, NQ:3 PQE, Buckinghamshire

GBP 55,000 : GBP 65,000 DOE

Job Ref:

Join a specialist Contentious Probate team handling a broad range of complex wills, trusts, and estate disputes. You will advise on matters including Inheritance Act claims, challenges to the validity of wills, executor and personal representative disputes, trust disputes, estate administration issues, and property-related estate claims.

  • Work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, providing practical and commercially focused advice on strategy and costs.
  • Prepare correspondence and court documents, instruct counsel where appropriate, and progress matters through negotiation, mediation, settlement, or trial.

Applications are welcomed from Solicitors with between NQ:3 years PQE and experience in contentious probate or civil litigation. A seat in contentious probate during training will also be considered.

You will possess:

  • Strong drafting and client care skills.
  • A sound understanding of civil litigation procedures.
  • The ability to manage a varied caseload with appropriate supervision.
  • A practical, commercially minded approach to dispute resolution.
  • An interest in business development and building client relationships.
