Contentious Probate Solicitor
Senior Contentious Probate Solicitor (3+ PQE) – Nationally Recognised Specialists
We’re seeking qualified solicitors with 3+ years post-qualification experience to join our nationally recognised firm specialising exclusively in contentious trusts and estates.
Our boutique practice is firmly established for handling complex, high-value contentious probate matters, offering unparalleled expertise without private client regulation. Lawyers benefit from:

Key Responsibilities
You’ll oversee a diverse caseload while collaborating with specialist colleagues, including:
- Will & inheritance disputes (contesting will validity, claim disputes)
- Inheritance Act 1975 claims (ex-gifting, 'maintenancepending litigation' support)
- Trust and estate disputes (pettifog actions, breach of trust claims)
- Capacity & validity challenges (prior decisions, early-stage investigations)
- Executor and trustee disputes (removal petitions, trustee indemnity issues)

Requirements
- 3+ years’ PQE with proven contentious probate expertise
- Confidence in managing files independently—from inception to conclusion
- Strong technical legal skills, backed by excellent client communication
- Performance-oriented, with ambition for long-term career progression
