Continuous Improvement Co-ordinator (Service)

Continuous Improvement Coordinator – Service Delivery

Department: Service - Delivery Location: Yeovil Compensation: £35,000 - £45,000 / year

About Harmony and the Role

Harmony is on a mission to be the best life safety partner to work with and for. Rated an ‘Outstanding Employer’ by Best Companies in 2025, we are only getting bigger and stronger — and we’re looking for A-players to help us achieve this.

We are passionate about making a difference and obsessed with quality. Our goal is to build a world where every resident can sleep safely at night, knowing their home is 100% safe. We are seeking a Continuous Improvement Coordinator to drive operational excellence across our Service function. This is a hands-on role focused on identifying, delivering, and embedding improvements that make our service delivery faster, sharper, and more consistent — collaborating closely with sales, delivery, engineering, and support teams to reduce waste, streamline processes, and build the structures required to support our growth.

Reporting to the Service Managing Director, you will own the improvement agenda from analysis through to implementation — bringing together analytical rigour, practical delivery, and strong people management skills. Occasional travel to our London office may be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, analyse, and map existing business processes across the Service function, proposing and implementing improvements to:
    • Increase efficiency
    • Reduce errors
    • Eliminate waste
    • Improve customer service with robust cost/benefit analysis to underpin every initiative.
  • Create clear deliverables and measurable success criteria for each improvement project, ensuring:
    • Tracking of actions, timelines, and outcomes
    • Successful delivery and sustained results
  • Fact in all process, people, and system considerations into change initiatives, adopting a ‘do with, not to’ approach and fostering a culture of celebrating success around change.
  • Support process standardisation and documentation across the Service function, including:
    • SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
    • Workflow optimisation
    • Best practice guides development
  • Assist in embedding continuous improvement methodologies, including Lean and Six Sigma principles.
  • Optimise SimPRO and other service management technologies, identifying opportunities for:
    • Automation
    • Digital improvement
  • Facilitate workshops and process reviews with stakeholders, ensuring:
    • Clear communication of changes
    • Strong support for implementation
  • Collaborate with support functions to understand:
    • Team needs
    • Constraints
    • Workload While leveraging existing capabilities and systems within Harmony Fire before introducing new ones.
  • Coordinate improvement projects, maintaining visibility of priorities and progress across the function.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
