Continuous Improvement Manager - Is This Your Future Position?
The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for applying and spreading continuous improvement knowledge in their respective unit, as well as building the required CI capabilities through training, coaching and certification. The CI Manager leads the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within assigned business unit to embed best practises, reinforce a continuous improvement mind-set and streamline non-value added activities.
The Continuous Improvement Manager reports to the Head of Operations and based in Ashford, Kent (UK).

You Will
- Facilitate the design of Site strategies while ensuring the alignment from Global, Regional, and Functional into Site strategy.
- Partner with the local process owners and regional/global process experts to develop and apply solutions and good practices at site level.
- Lead or support specific business improvement projects.
- Manage the pipeline of improvement projects to deliver impact and track strategic progress at department level.
- Drive implementation progress of approved CI programs, monitoring resource plans, project team accountabilities, change requests, deadlines, milestones. Manage updates to stakeholders.
- Responsible for consolidation of the financial and non-financial benefits at department level.
- Setup strategy deployment governance at business unit and department level to ensure execution.
- Establish a positive first contact with CI for all employees and enable engagement.
- Promote good practices sharing in teamwork.
- Develop people by delivering training, coaching and mentoring for all CI Methodologies.
- Coach Belts, and manage the certification and recognition events.
- Coach project teams in applying effective root cause analysis to develop solutions.
- Support teams to identify problems that must be solved using right CI Methodology and Tools.
- Set up and support the effective implementation of performance management reviews.

You Have
- University degree.
- LEAN 6 Sigma Green Belt certificate or equivalent (Black Belt Certification is an advantage).
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment including 3+ years in Lean Six Sigma implementation role.
- Proven results on leading improvement projects, training, coaching, assessing.
- Exposure to cross-functional teams and projects.
- Excellent command both of oral and written English.
