The Role
We are seeking an experienced Catering Chef to join a busy workers accommodation and catering facility in Shetland. The site caters for up to 350 people in a hotel-style, all-inclusive industrial camp, serving breakfast and evening meals daily. This is a hands-on cooking role within a small team, requiring a strong culinary background and the ability to deliver consistent, high-quality food in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals for breakfast and evening services.
- Deliver 3-4 menu choices per service, maintaining consistency and presentation.
- Support the kitchen team with stock control, ordering, and food safety standards.
- Work closely with the Chef Manager and culinary team on menu execution.
- Maintain hygiene, food safety, and operational standards across the site.

The Ideal Candidate
- Strong culinary background with experience in high-volume catering or contract catering.
- Comfortable working on a rotational basis (2 weeks on / 2 weeks off or 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off).
- Reliable, organised, and able to work 7 days a week during the rotation.
- Passionate about food quality and consistency.
- Available for an immediate start.
