Role: Data Migration / Technical Data Delivery Lead
Duration: Initial 12-month contract
Day Rate: £550 to £650 p/d Outside IR35 (DOE)
Location: Predominantly remote, with occasional client visits in South London
Security Clearance: Candidates must be eligible for BPSS and Counter-Terrorist Check (CTC) clearance
Start Date: September or October 2026, subject to the clearance process
We are looking for a Data Migration / Technical Data Delivery Lead to join a large-scale technology transformation programme delivering critical services for a major government department. Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you will bridge the gap between business analysis and technical delivery, ensuring seamless data transition and robust governance.

What you'll do:
- Own the creation, maintenance, and mapping of the "As-Is" vs "To-Be" Data Dictionaries.
- Coordinate with client-side stakeholders to ensure secure handling of commercially sensitive data sets.
- Collaborate with Senior Transition and Technical PMs to build realistic migration schedules, with a heavy focus on the transition of open work orders.
- Advise on and generate synthetic data for development and testing environments.
- Lead hypercare data reconciliation exercises post-go-live.
What we're looking for:

- Experience: Extensive experience in programme environments involving complex data cleansing, restructuring, and migration across IT platforms.
- Industry Specifics: Proven experience with CAFM software and/or delivering Facilities Management (FM) contracts is highly desirable.
- Tech Stack: Strong MS Excel skills (Pivots, Macros) and a solid working knowledge of SQL, Jira (Kanban), and Azure/IaaS environments.
- Methodology: A foundation in a recognised project management framework (PRINCE2, APM, or PMI) is preferred.
