Job Opportunity: Contract Delivery Manager
We are looking for an experienced Contract Delivery Manager in East London to lead the successful delivery of retrofit and energy efficiency installations. You'll oversee operational teams, supply chain partners, and client relationships, ensuring projects are delivered safely, compliantly, on time, and right first time.
Key Accountabilities
- Take full ownership of our installation lifecycle from onboarding talent to the final compliance sign-off.
- Manage, mentor, and coordinate our employed internal installers day-to-day. You’ll oversee performance reviews to drive excellent service, productivity, and scheduled project timelines.
- Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, training, and equipping of our labour force. You will also manage external supply chain partners through monthly KPI and performance reviews.
- Conduct pre-, mid-, and post-installation site inspections and audits. You will ensure all work meets strict regulatory specifications, safety standards, and documentation timelines.
- Act as the go-to technical and logistical problem solver, swiftly resolving on-site issues, managing material budgets/cost savings, and collaborating with procurement to streamline deliveries.
- Partner closely with our Woking office to align site activities with broader business goals. You will attend client meetings, offer technical guidance, and take proactive ownership of customer complaints to ensure a swift, satisfactory resolution.
- Ensure all teams (internal and external) update crucial IT systems accurately and on time.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
