Contract Developer - Hospital Construction

Job Description

To support the delivery of contract management activities across a major health programme, focusing on the formation and administration of NEC4 ECC contracts under the H2A Alliance. The role will contribute to the development of systems, processes, and performance frameworks, and provide hands-on support to NHS Trusts and project teams.

.Key role responsibilities

Support the contract formation process, including document preparation, due diligence, and onboarding. Assist in the setup and administration of contract management systems and tools. Set up appropriate tooling to track and manage contract milestones, KPIs, and performance metrics. Support development of appropriate systems and tools to support the contract management function at alliance and ECC level. Maintain accurate contract records, correspondence, and reporting documentation. Liaise with Trusts, Contractors, and internal teams to ensure contract compliance and readiness. Contribute to lessons learned, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing across the programme. Support the development and implementation of the stakeholder communication plan. Support with the general project management of the contract management team within the Health Delivery Partnership. Assist with the development of the scope for future phases of support the programme in the delivery phase.

Qualifications

Solid experience in NEC4 ECC contract administration. Understanding of alliance contracting and collaborative delivery models. Familiarity with performance and incentive frameworks. Strong organisational and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Health sector or public infrastructure experience desirable.
