Contract Hire & Leasing Account Manager
Field Based, (Southern Region)
Role Summary:
As our Contract Hire & Leasing Manager, you will play a key role in driving sustainable and profitable sales growth for the Hyundai and Genesis brands through our Contract Hire and Leasing partners. You will develop and maintain strong senior-level relationships, championing brand engagement while identifying and delivering strategic account opportunities. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will ensure our products remain highly competitive by managing their market position through residual values, service, maintenance and repair (SMR) costs, and pricing strategies. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused professional who thrives on building partnerships, influencing key decision-makers, and delivering results in a dynamic automotive environment.
We want you to:
- Support the achievement of Hyundai and Genesis end user fleet sales objectives through the activities of leasing companies in the Southern Region (to be defined).
- To complete quarterly Residual Value and SMR reviews with key Contract Hire & leasing Companies with a view to increasing Hyundai & Genesis future values and reduce the TCO of our products.
- To agree and deliver detailed action plans for key Contract Hire & leasing companies including marketing strategies, sales opportunities, customer service support, product understanding and sales team product education.
- Manage lead-generation (from leasing companies to corporate fleet team) and target/measure engagement with sales teams.
- Support Hyundai & Genesis product launch strategies with regards to product communication and efficient go live quotation process at every model change/launch. Promote product evaluation events with key stakeholders.
- Deliver reports, insight data and general performance data on leasing company activity/end user accounts/industry sectors.
- Analyse and propose actions, campaigns, and tactical opportunities for consideration. Opportunities must be fully costed and benchmarked.
- To support Hyundai Corporate Fleet Sales team members when required with queries, pricing, vehicle quoting status and customer events.
- Advise/consult on requirements of the industry leasing sector to ensure Hyundai always meet customer expectations. Benchmark against other AFV OEMs in terms of promotions and strategies.
- To develop a greater awareness within the wider HMUK business of the commercial workings of the Contract Hire & leasing industry.

- An extensive knowledge of the Contract Hire industry and Corporate Sector.
- A self-starter able to work on their own initiative and to develop and share new ideas.
- Strong and challenging individual with a record of over-achieving on results.
- Ability to travel nationally to visit all key leasing partners on a regular basis.
- Fully conversant with all vehicle funding methods and legislative implications.
- Strong understanding of AFV products and connected vehicle implications and opportunities.
- Well connected in the fleet industry and the leasing sector and strong relationship builder.
- Able to deal confidently and produce/deliver professional presentations to a senior level.
