About the Role

We share an ambition to be recognised as the benchmark in all of our operations. At TrustFord we keep on growing. From selling electric vehicles in ever greater numbers, to providing more mobile servicing and growing our commercial and fleet vehicles, we’re offering and delivering more choice to our customers every day. Becoming a more diverse and inclusive business will also be vital to our success, but what won’t change is the buzz we get from working in a fast-paced environment that’s 100% customer-focused.

We require a Retail Manager to support the Sales Manager in leading the Sales Team to provide an industry-leading customer experience to our new or used car customers, ensuring that they are presented with the best and most relevant information in order to assist them with a purchasing decision.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Analysis and interpretation of sales data to develop and implement a plan to improve performance across key metrics
  • Oversight of compliance
  • Driving the standard in customer care by reviewing and coaching the sales team
  • Responsibility for delivering volume and gross profit targets

Requirements

Do you have experience in a sales or target-driven environment?

  • Can you confidently lead, coach and support a sales team to improve performance?
  • Are you comfortable taking ownership of daily performance, process control, and department standards?

Successful candidates will have an excellent level of written and verbal communication, a passion for learning about new technology in a fast-moving environment, and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers. Experience at a Sales Controller or above within the automotive sector is required. Full training will be provided for the right individuals.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
