Contract Liaison Officer 'At the core & heart of everything we do'
Location & Hours
- Base: Wrexham (Novus office), site-based with travel across Wrexham, North Shropshire to Ludlow
- Hours: 37.5 hrs/week, 8:30am – 5:00pm
About the Role
# Current Opportunity As part of Novus’s long-term framework agreement, we’re hiring Contract Liaison Officers—a fantastic time to join an expanding team driving social value and exceptional customer service.
You’ll support our social housing projects (kitchen/bathroom renovations, aids & adaptations, electrical/heating upgrades, windows & doors replacements). Your role blends customer-facing advocacy, problem-solving, and relationship management to ensure seamless delivery—every task matters and delivers real impact.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Coordination
- Liaise daily between clients, customers, communities, and site/sub-contractor teams
- Champion Social Value Act compliance by:
- Planning/coordinating skills & employment initiatives
- Recording progress and reporting transparently
- Promoting good practice to marketing and tender teams
- Drive contractual commitments, diarising deadlines, and managing stakeholder communications
Customer & Site Engagement
- Site Visits: Lead face-to-face interactions—collaborate on bathroom design (colour schemes, tiles, etc.) and measurements
- Field Roles:
- Address enquiries/issues between site teams and clients
- Process/communicate feedback or complaints positively
- Set scheduled home visits and ensure wrap-around continuity
- Ensure customer satisfaction through an empowering but visible approach (demonstrate exception in what can be demanding environments)

Administrative Excellence
- Draft technical specs/site notes and internal reports (using MS Office/mapped systems)
- Maintain up-to-date works calendars and site information databases
- Identify potential case studies (e.g., exemplary customer service & social impact) for tender submissions
Quality & Progression
- Champion Novus’ Social Value mission at all opportunities
- Capture and integrate project learnings (positive outcomes, best practices)
Who You Are
✅ Experience: Previous work as a Contract/Residential/Tenant Liaison Officer (essential); customer-facing roles preferred ✅ Skills:
- Confident communication and public-facing presentation (rebuilding trust, negotiating, building relationships)
- Organisational capability (co-ordination of multi-channel stakeholders, IT-proficient)
- Visual/stylistic aptitude (design assists, drawing/planning schemes) ✅ System & Legal Awareness: Familiarity with MS Office, site documentation, contracts, and Social Value KPIs
✅ Mobility & Compliance:
- Valid UK driving license (public-facing travel regular)
- Ability to adapt to flexible hours (travel burdens may exceed 90 mins)
- DBS check required (public-facing & high-integrity role)
