As we continue our transformation and pursue our ambition to become the No.1 Digital Infrastructure & Services Partner of Choice in the UK, we're looking for a talented Contract Manager to join our Sales & Commercial team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially-minded contract professional who enjoys working at the intersection of commercial strategy, customer relationships, contract negotiation, and business growth.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Contract & Commercial Performance, you'll play a critical role in managing and optimising Cornerstone's key commercial agreements while supporting the development of new business opportunities across our expanding service portfolio.
You'll be responsible for managing contracts associated with:
- Power as a Service (PaaS)
- Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
- Coverage as a Service (CaaS)
You'll work closely with Sales, Account Management, Business Development, Legal, Finance, and Technical teams to ensure contracts deliver strong commercial outcomes, maintain compliance, support customer satisfaction, and maximise value for Cornerstone.
This is a highly visible role requiring strong commercial judgement, negotiation expertise, stakeholder management capability, and the confidence to influence internal and external decision-makers.
What You'll Be Doing
Contract Management
- Manage a portfolio of high-value customer and partner contracts.
- Support the negotiation and execution of new commercial agreements.
- Evaluate contract proposals and provide commercially sound recommendations.
- Manage contract amendments, variations, renewals, and extensions.
- Ensure contracts are implemented effectively and deliver agreed outcomes.
- Monitor contract performance against agreed SLAs and commercial commitments.
- Identify opportunities to improve contract value and commercial performance.

Commercial Performance
- Drive commercial integrity across customer agreements.
- Support revenue generation and business growth initiatives.
- Work with Strategic Account Leads and Business Development teams to maximise opportunities.
- Support commercial optimisation activities across the contract lifecycle.
- Identify opportunities for increased profitability and customer value.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders and internal teams.
- Act as a trusted commercial advisor to colleagues and customers.
- Collaborate effectively with Sales, Legal, Finance and Technical experts.
- Facilitate effective communication throughout contract delivery and execution.
- Support senior leaders on strategic commercial and contractual matters.
Governance, Reporting & Analysis
- Maintain accurate contract documentation and records.
- Produce contract performance, compliance and revenue reports.
- Track customer satisfaction and service delivery performance.
- Analyse contract data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Present contract insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Risk, Compliance & Assurance
- Ensure contractual compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Identify commercial, contractual and operational risks.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies.
- Support information security, business continuity and health & safety requirements.
- Conduct contract reviews and audits to ensure ongoing compliance.
About You
You'll be a commercially astute contract management professional with strong negotiation skills and a genuine interest in helping customers and businesses achieve successful outcomes.
You'll bring:
Essential
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience within Contract Management.
- Experience managing commercial customer contracts throughout their lifecycle.
- Strong commercial awareness and financial understanding.
- Excellent contract negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong written communication and contract drafting capability.
- Ability to manage risk and resolve contractual issues effectively.
- Experience working across multiple stakeholders and functions.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Ability to balance customer needs with commercial objectives.
- Proven ability to operate with professionalism, credibility and accountability.

Desirable
- Telecommunications, digital infrastructure, technology, utilities or related sector experience.
- Understanding of TowerCo, network infrastructure or connectivity services.
- Knowledge of PaaS, IaaS or CaaS commercial models.
- IACCM (World Commerce & Contracting) accreditation.
- Experience using contract management systems and tools.
