BGEN is one of the UK's largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with over 100 years of industry experience. We support clients in the Water, Power & Energy, Pharmaceutical, Nuclear and Food and Beverage industries to deliver next generation, value-added engineering solutions.

What you'll be doing?
- You’ll lead complex, multidisciplinary projects from tender through to completion, guiding teams with clarity and confidence.
- You’ll manage and administer contracts such as NEC or JCT, making sure all terms, notices, and change controls are followed.
- As the main commercial and contractual point of contact, you’ll build positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and colleagues, keeping communication open and constructive.
- You’ll prepare and review tenders, ensuring submissions are competitive, accurate, and aligned with project needs.
- Your estimating work for MEICA projects will support cost planning, risk analysis, and successful bid strategies.
- You’ll take ownership of project finances, overseeing cost control, forecasting, reporting, and the timely agreement of variations and change orders.
- You’ll support subcontract procurement and negotiation, and guide project teams to deliver safe, high‑quality engineering outcomes.
- You’ll monitor programme performance, manage risks and opportunities, and champion continuous improvement across delivery.
- Collaboration will be central to your role, working closely with engineering, commercial, and operational teams to achieve shared goals.
- You’ll lead project meetings, provide clear commercial guidance, and maintain accurate, auditable documentation.
- Above all, you’ll help create a positive, professional environment where strong relationships and great project results can thrive.

What you'll bring:
- Confident delivering complex, multidisciplinary work.
- Skilled in tendering, estimating, and commercial management.
- Clear understanding of NEC, JCT, or similar forms.
- Able to balance multiple projects and priorities.
- Supportive leadership and positive stakeholder engagement.
Security Clearance
- Must be eligible to obtain SC (Security Clearance) or already hold valid SC clearance.
