Contracts Manager – Leading Regional Contractor | Bristol
💼 Salary: Up to £90,000 + Full Package

My client - a highly respected regional main contractor - is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee several live projects up to £10m in value, spanning commercial, education, healthcare, industrial, and community developments.
This is a rare opportunity to join a business known for its integrity, strong pipeline, and supportive culture.
The Role
As Contracts Manager, you’ll take strategic oversight of several schemes from pre-construction through to handover, ensuring operational, commercial, and quality targets are delivered to the highest standard.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing multiple projects up to £10m across the South West
- Leading and mentoring Project Managers, Site Managers, and operational teams
- Driving programme, quality, and safety standards on all live sites
- Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners
- Supporting pre-construction, planning, and resourcing activities
- Monitoring commercial performance alongside QS teams
- Tackling challenges proactively and ensuring seamless project delivery
- Ensuring each project aligns with the company’s standards, values, and long-term objectives
This is a highly influential role with genuine autonomy and visibility at senior level.
Ideal Candidate Profile
You will likely be:
- An experienced Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager ready to step up
- Proven across main contracting with projects up to £10m
- Strong technically, commercially, and operationally
- A natural leader who inspires high-performing delivery teams
- Excellent at client relationships, communication, and problem solving
- Highly organised and confident managing multiple live sites
- Based in or commutable to Bristol / South West
